Mary’s Cross is a micro-enterprise employing women who had been abducted by the Janjaweed and forced into sexual servitude in Sudan.

After a dangerous escape from their captors in the North, these women, with children at their side returned to the villages they were taken from. With no hope of income and no government infrastructure to help them rebuild their lives Make Way Partners receives these former slaves and helps them start a new life of freedom.

The crosses are hand made from material grown locally. They are simple yet speak profoundly of Mary’s cost of faithfulness.

They make beautiful and meaningful gifts.
